Pertamina Hulu Energi Ogan Komering (PHE OK) is committed to protecting the biodiversity around its working area. One of the fauna conserved by the Ogan Komering Field is the Crocodile Eaglewood (Aetoxylon sympetalum). This fish population is quite threatened due to the rampant fishing activities by fishermen. PHE OK intensively cares for the protected high conservation value plants in the Conservation area to ensure good survival. PHE OK has an initiative to stimulate the successful growth of Eaglewood by applying Microalgae biostimulants (Chorella vulgaris) to the soil rhizosphere in the Makartitama conservation area. With this Microalgae Biostimulant application, PHE OK has succeeded in improving the conservation achievements of the Kehati protection area, thereby supporting the expected goal of habitat protection.
