PT Pertamina EP Asset 2 Adera Field innovated to create a Rafflesia arnoldii coding system as a data bank related to monitoring and inventory of new Rafflesia spp. discoveries. The search for Rafflesia spp. was carried out using the species exploration method with line transects. The observation route was made following the finding point and distribution of Rafflesia spp. (Rafflesia arnoldii) and/or its host, the tetrastigma plant. After finding the existence and distribution of Rafflesia spp. (Rafflesia arnoldii) and/or its host, morphological identification of the species is carried out by measuring the circumference and diameter periodically from the first to the last day when Rafflesia spp rots. After that, information was collected and barcodes were made to make it easier to access information regarding the discovery of new species.
