Pertamina EP Asset 2 Field Adera developed a Rafflesia arnoldii coding system as a data bank for monitoring and inventory of Rafflesia spp. species findings which carried out based on path transects exploration method. The observation path was made by following the discovery point and distribution of Rafflesia spp. (Rafflesia arnoldii) and/or its host, namely tetrastigma. After obtaining information of distribution of Rafflesia spp. (Rafflesia arnoldii) and/or its host, morphological identification of the type was carried out by measuring the circumference and diameter periodically from the first day to the last day of rotten Rafflesia spp. (Rafflesia arnoldii). After that, information was collected and barcodes were made to facilitate access to the information tap related to the discovery of new species.
