PT Pertamina Group Structure

PT Pertamina operates an integrated end-to-end energy business, from upstream to downstream businesses. As an energy holding company pursuant to the Decree of Minister of SOEs dated 12 June 2020, then the business focuses of PT Pertamina are generally to manage the business portfolio and synergy within PT Pertamina Group, to accelerate development of new businesses, and run national programs.

Meanwhile, a number of activities that were initially managed as the core businesses of the company, will be run by the newly established subholdings. Such subholdings will embrace the roles, including to encourage the implementation of operational excellence through the increase in scale and synergy among businesses, to accelerate the development of business and existing business capability as well as to improve competence and flexibility in partnership and funding that will offer greater benefit for the company. With the new group structure, PT Pertamina is expected to have an agile, focused organization that can move faster for developing a business capability of world-class quality in order to accelerate innovations beyond the conventional business chains of PT Pertamina, including in areas of new and renewable energy, biofuel and digital technology, which can provide PT Pertamina with opportunities to grow its business scale that can serve as solid foundation to establish a leading energy global company.
