Prabumulih Field has a commitment to protect biodiversity by improving the ecosystem through the conservation of Gajah Sumatera, and also improving the quality of land resources and the growth of Demplot King Grass around the conservation area. The abundant availability of elephant feed could reduce conflicts that occur between the community and Gajah Sumatera. Apart from that, the conservation team is making efforts to increase the weight of elephants and the skills of human resources managing the Gajah Sumatera Conservation Area. Not only animals, the biodiversity team also conserve plants by planting the Dryobalanops oblongifolia species or commonly called petanang, which is an endemic plant to South Sumatra and a new species in the Isau-isau PLG Conservation area.

In the area Housing Complex of Prabumulih Field, we help conserve biodiversity by planting rare trees such as Hopea mengarawan, Eucalyptus deglupta, Shorea balangeran, and Dryobalanops oblongifolia so that the biodiversity index continues to increase from year to year.
