PT Pertamina EP Field Jatibarang is always committed to preserving the environment to increase the population of flora and fauna in conservation areas. PT Pertamina EP Field Jatibarang collaborates with the Gunung Ciremai National Park Office together with the surrounding community. The flagship biodiversity program, namely the Adopt a Tree program, is planting endemic plants in the form of Kaliandra, Buni and Bungur as well as other endemic plants based on IUCN which are included in the Low Risk LC (Least Concern) category. Apart from that, there is conservation of the Javan leopard (Panthera pardus melas) which is included in the protected animal category based on the Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation P.20/MENLHK/SETJEN/KUM.1/6/2018 concerning protected plant and animal species.
