Provided Concrete Contribution To Energy Sub-Sector, Subholding Upstream Pertamina Received E2S Award 2023
Jakarta – PT Pertamina Hulu Energi, as Subholding Upstream Pertamina establish its commitment as corporation that continuosly contributed in maintaining national energy resilience.
This contribution received the appreciation and attention from many parties. Apprecation given by the stakeholders, Energy and Mining Editor Society (E2S) on the E2S Awards 2023, oil and gas upstream sub-sector in Central Jakarta, Friday (12/01). Secretary General of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Dr. Ir. Dadan Kusdiana, M.SC.
PHE received award as the Best Corporate Secretary Oil and Gas Company given to PHE Corporate Secretary, Arya Dwi Paramita, the award received by PHE Acting Corporate Secretary, Hasti Rachmawati.
In that occasion, PHE Subsidiary also received the award for the best CEO Upstream oil and gas company given to President Director of Pertamina Hulu Rokan, Chalid Said Salim.
Moreover, another PHE Subsidiary Elnusa, successfully received the award in the category of Best Spokeperson of an Oil and Gas Company given to Jayanti Oktavia Maulina, Manager of Corporate Communication Elnusa Tbk. Another award was given to the team of Rantau Field Zone 1 of PHR, in category of Best CSR/CID Manager Upstream Oil and Gas which received by PHR Rantau Field Zone 1 Manager, Despredi Akbar.
Another Award given to the category of Best Social Innovation Program, Aceh Tamiang Creative House achieved by PHR, also Waste Water Processing Project Program for Agricultural Land Based on New and Renewable Energy in Sangasanga which achieved by Pertamina Drilling Services Indonesia.
Acting Corporate Secretary of PHE, Hasti Rachmawati, expressed that this achievement is not possible without the support of all relevant stakeholders, "of course, this success motivates us to continue to strive to contribute to the best energy resilience to support sustainable development,"she stated.
Chairman of E2S, Dudi Rahman, in his address, explained, "the award recipients today represent milestones of achievement in various aspects of the energy and mineral resources sector. From renewable technology development to sustainable governance practices, from environmental conservation efforts to contributions to the national economy, each award recipient has played a crucial role in bringing about positive change," he said.
The selection of the recipients of the E2S Award 2023 was conducted through three stages: monitoring of news coverage for a full year, nomination process based on surveys of editors, and assurance or quality control, which involved jury discussions for the potential award recipients.
PHE will continue to invest in the management of upstream oil and gas operations and businesses according to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. PHE has been registered with the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) as a member since June 2022.
PHE is committed to the Ten Universal Principles of the UNGC in its strategies and operations, as part of the implementation of ESG aspects. Supporting the Governance aspect, PHE also consistently commits to Zero Tolerance on Bribery by ensuring fraud prevention and ensuring the company is free from bribery. One of these efforts is the implementation of the Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP) which has been standardized to ISO 37001:2016.
PHE continues to develop prudent and excellent operational management both domestically and internationally in a professional manner to achieve its goal of becoming an environmentally friendly, socially responsible, and well-governed world-class oil and gas company.
