PHE Showcases Positive Achievements at IPA Convex 2024

Jakarta - PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE), a subsidiary of Upstream Pertamina Subholding, participated in the Indonesian Petroleum Association Convention and Exhibition (IPA Convex) 2024, presenting a range of intriguing information for attendees.
Held at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City, Tangerang, from Tuesday to Thursday, May 14-16, 2024, PHE used its platform to highlight the company’s achievements.
In 2023, PHE recorded oil production of 566 thousand barrels per day (MBOPD) and gas production of 2,766 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD), totalling 1,044 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day (MBOEPD). Oil production increased by 10.12% from 2022, while gas production saw a 5.40% increase from 2022.
PHE completed drilling 20 exploration wells, 799 development wells, 835 workovers, and 32,589 well services in 2023. Additionally, PHE conducted a 3D seismic survey covering 1,512km² and achieved a total 2C resource discovery of 488 MMBOE (Million Barrels of Oil Equivalent), surpassing the target by 68%.
Whisnu Bahriansyah, Director of Human Resources & Business Support at PHE, highlighted the company's efforts in developing Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) and Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS) technologies. These efforts are part of PHE’s commitment to Environmental, Social, & Governance (ESG) principles to ensure future business sustainability.
Whisnu added, “The various achievements of PHE will be shared in detail at our platform during IPA Convex 2024. We are eager to provide in-depth and updated information to professional and academic participants. Visitors can also directly interact with our representatives.”
Participants at IPA Convex 2024 can access PHE’s information through Apple Vision technology available at the PHE platform. In support of reducing plastic waste, PHE also placed a Reverse Vending Machine (RVM) at the event. Visitors can use the Plasticpay vending machine to deposit plastic bottle waste in exchange for attractive prizes from PHE.
