Pertamina Hulu Mahakam Earns Gold Reward in National Police Security Management System Audit

Jakarta, 23 December 2024 – PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam (PHM) has been awarded the Gold Reward in sertifikasi Audit Sistem Manajemen Pengamanan (SMP) Audit, conducted by Badan Pemelihara Keamanan (Baharkam) Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia (Polri). The certification was presented by Inspector General Mulia Hasudungan Ritonga, Head of the Samapta Bhayangkara Corps of Baharkam Polri, and received by PHM General Manager, Setyo Sapto Edi, at a ceremony held at PLN Headquarters, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.
This year’s SMP Audit assessed 60 companies from both the oil and gas and non-oil and gas sectors, with only 15 achieving the Gold certification. PHM distinguished itself by securing second place with an impressive score of 93.58%, reaffirming its leadership in security excellence.
PHM General Manager, Setyo Sapto Edi, emphasized that this achievement reflects PHM’s dedication to security, health, safety, environmental sustainability, and asset integrity in its upstream operations. "This is an outstanding achievement, and I deeply appreciate the teamwork and dedication of everyone involved. Maintaining security excellence is essential in managing a national vital asset."
Setyo further underscored PHM’s proactive approach in safeguarding employees, assets, information, and corporate reputation through risk-based security assessments and adherence to Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights. "A robust security management system is fundamental to ensuring safe and efficient energy production, supporting national energy security and economic development."
