Desa Energi ini dikembangkan melalui program Mata Hati Malasigi yang merupakan binaana PEP Papua dan berlokasi di Distrik Klayili. Program ini mengusung pengembangan ekowisata minat khusus yang dikelola secara berkelanjutan oleh masyarakat setempat sebagai upaya pemanfaatan sumber daya hutan sekaligus peningkatan ekonomi lokal. Aktivitas ekowisata yang ditawarkan meliputi homestay komunitas, bird watching, wisata pemandian air panas, dan penelusuran goa. Untuk mendukung operasional homestay serta kegiatan pengolahan produk lokal seperti keripik pisang, praogram ini dilengkapi dengan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) berkapasitas 8,72 kWp. Sistem energi ini menggunakan lithium battery berkapasitas 10 kWh dan dilengkapi fitur pemantauan berbasis IoT melalui aplikasi Deye Cloud Monitoring untuk memastikan efisiensi pemanfaatan energi. Pemanfaatan EBT di DEB Papua Community %u2013 Mata Hati Malasigi berpotensi menurunkan biaya listrik sebesar Rp16 juta/tahun dan berpotensi mengurangi emisi karbon hingga 11,34 ton CO%u2082/tahun.This Energy Village was developed through the Mata Hati Malasigi program, which is assisted by PEP Papua and is located in the Klayili District. This program promotes the development of special interest ecotourism that is managed sustainably by the local community as an effort to utilize forest resources while increasing the local economy. Ecotourism activities offered include community homestays, bird watching, hot spring tourism, and cave exploration. To support the operation of homestays and local product processing activities such as banana chips, this program is equipped with a Solar Power Plant (PLTS) with a capacity of 8.72 kWp. This energy system uses a 10 kWh lithium battery and is equipped with IoT-based monitoring features through the Deye Cloud Monitoring application to ensure efficient energy utilization.
