PAKAR BALAMPengendalian Agrokimia dalam Pertanian Karet Berbasis Pengelolaan SampahAgrochemical Control in Rubber Farming Based on Waste ManagementProgram PAKAR BALAM merupakan inovasi sosial yang diinisiasi oleh PT Pertamina EP Prabumulih Field dan dikembangkan untuk mengatasi ketergantungan petani karet terhadap bahan kimia berbahaya (cuka para/asam formiat) dalam proses pengolahan lateks serta mengurangi limbah sampah yang menyebabkan overcapacity di TPA Kota Prabumulih. Program ini memanfaatkan sampah biomassa kayu untuk menghasilkan cuka kayu (mokusaku) sebagai alternatif penggumpal lateks alami, sehingga mengurangi dampak lingkungan dan risiko kesehatan bagi petani.Selain itu, PAKAR BALAM mengembangkan sistem zero waste, di mana sampah anorganik seperti plastik residu diolah menjadi wadah getah karet eco-friendly, dan sampah organik diubah menjadi pupuk organik untuk pertanian. Program ini juga melibatkan kelompok rentan, termasuk buruh tani karet prasejahtera, pemulung, serta perempuan rawan sosial ekonomi, dalam berbagai kegiatan pemberdayaan ekonomi berbasis lingkungan.Dari sisi lingkungan, program ini berhasil mengurangi penggunaan cuka para sebesar 790 liter per tahun, yang setara dengan pengurangan 1.024 ton sampah biomassa kayu per tahun. Selain itu, pemanfaatan sampah plastik residu dalam produksi wadah getah karet eco-friendly telah mengurangi 1.560 ton limbah plastik per tahun. Program ini juga berkontribusi terhadap reduksi emisi gas flare perusahaan hingga 40,15 MMSCF per tahun, mendukung visi perusahaan untuk mengurangi dampak karbon.Dari sisi sosial dan ekonomi, program ini telah meningkatkan pendapatan buruh tani karet hingga Rp78.968.000 per tahun melalui substitusi cuka para dengan mokusaku. Selain itu, melalui program daur ulang sampah plastik oleh kelompok Pusat Daur Ulang (PDU), telah dihasilkan omzet sebesar Rp468.000.000 per tahun. This program also involves vulnerable groups, including underprivileged rubber farm laborers, scavengers, and socio-economically vulnerable women, in various environment-based economic empowerment activities.From the aspect of environment, the program has succeeded in reducing the use of vinegar by 790 liters per year, which is equivalent to reducing 1,024 tons of wood biomass waste per year. In addition, the use of residual plastic waste in the production of eco-friendly rubber latex containers has reduced 1,560 tons of plastic waste per year.
