Program ini diberi nama %u201cUBUKI%u201d yang merupakan singkatan dari Untuk Bumi Kita, serta memiliki filosofi %u201cFrom Secondhand to Become Valuable%u201d. Inovasi ini mulai dirancang dari tahun 2023 dan secara resmi diluncurkan pada tanggal 12 Mei 2024. Dalam program ini, PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam bekerja sama dengan Yayasan Langkah Bumi Sirkular untuk melalukan proses upcycling coverall bekas menjadi produk-produk yang bernilai ekonomi.Program ini berawal dari permasalahan banyaknya timbunan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) berupa coverall yang sudah tidak dapat digunakan kembali karena rusak, penurunan fungsi proteksi, atau pun kedaluwarsa, sehingga mendorong Perusahaan untuk berinovasi dengan pengelolaan yang tepat dengan pendekatan 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) dan ekonomi sirkular.Melalui program UBUKI, Perusahaan telah berhasil mengelola 1 ton coverall bekas per tahun, mendukung pembukaan 65 lapangan pekerjaan baru, menyimpan 2,2 juta TonCO2eq/tahun, serta mendukung penghematan 3,4 juta liter air dalam proses pembuatan bahan baku baru. Selain itu, program ini juga telah membuka potensi ekonomi sirkular dalam pengelolaan limbah sehingga Perusahaan tidak perlu lagi mengalokasikan biaya untuk pengelolaan coverall bekas sebab program ini dapat menciptakan pembiayaan mandiri.Program ini berpotensi untuk direplikasi kepada seluruh Subholding Pertamina yang memiliki permasalahan pengelolaan coverall bekas. Salah satu bentuk replikasi yang telah dilakukan adalah:1. Pada 27 Agustus 2024, PHM diundang oleh Divisi Sustainability dan SMEPP untuk melakukan kurasi dan penilaian terhadap desain dan kualitas sampel produk sepatu olahan coverall bekas yang dibuat oleh UMKM binaan.2. Replikasi di PT Pertamina Patra Niaga dan telah digunakan acara Sales Meeting (NSM) Direktorat Pemasaran Regional Tahun 2025 pada tanggal 17 Januari 2025.This program is named %u201cUBUKI%u201d which is an abbreviation of For Our Earth (Untuk Bumi Kita), and has the philosophy %u201cFrom Secondhand to Become Valuable%u201d. This innovation was designed in 2023 and was officially launched on May 12, 2024. In this program, PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam collaborates with Yayasan Langkah Bumi Sirkular to upcycle used coveralls into products with economic value.This program started from the problem of the large amount of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the form of coveralls that could no longer be reused due to damage, decreased protective function, or expiration, thus encouraging the Company to innovate with proper management with the 3R approach (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) and circular economy.Through the UBUKI program, the Company has successfully managed 1 ton of used coveralls per year, supported the opening of 65 new jobs, saved 2.2 million TonCO2eq/year, and supported the savings of 3.4 million liters of water in the process of making new raw materials. In addition, this program has also opened up the potential for a circular economy in waste management so that the Company no longer needs to allocate costs for the management of used coveralls because this program can create independent financing.This program has the potential to be replicated to all Pertamina Subholdings that have problems managing used coveralls. One form of replication that has been conducted is:1. On August 27, 2024, PHM was invited by the Sustainability Division and SMEPP to conduct curation and assessment of the design and quality of samples of shoe products from processed used coveralls made by assisted MSMEs.2.
