                                    PHE Subholding Upstream berkomitmen melakukan efisiensi pemakaian air dan mendukung konservasi sumber daya air di WK setiap Anak Perusahaan. Untuk memastikan pengelolaan air yang bertanggung jawab, kami secara rutin memantau seluruh proses pengambilan, penggunaan, serta pengolahan dan pembuangan efluen ke badan air. Kegiatan ini diawasi oleh Fungsi HSSE dan Operasi di setiap Anak Perusahaan dan dilaporkan secara berkala kepada otoritas terkait. [GRI 303-2] [IPIECA ENV-1]Perusahaan telah mengimplementasikan berbagai inisiatif untuk meningkatkan efisiensi pemanfaatan air serta mendukung praktik pengelolaan air yang berkelanjutan di berbagai fasilitas operasional. Salah satu langkah utama adalah penerapan sistem pengolahan air limbah domestik dengan metode fisika-kimia, di mana air olahan dialirkan ke sumur resapan, sementara lumpur dikumpulkan dalam septic tank untuk penanganan lebih lanjut. Selain itu, dilakukan inovasi pada proses pengeboran guna mengoptimalkan konsumsi air secara signifikan.Beberapa inisiatif teknis turut dijalankan, antara lain penggunaan Fire Tube Boiler di fasilitas Sangasanga, serta sistem penyiraman tanaman di kawasan hunian karyawan (BDV/Living Quarter) yang memanfaatkan air hasil olahan dari instalasi pengolahan air limbah (IPAL). Upaya efisiensi juga dilakukan melalui pemasangan alat Restriction Orifice pada sumur air (AROWW), serta penerapan integrated speed control pump (ISCP) dengan pemasangan Variable Speed Drive (VSD) pada Deepwell Pump 374 P 1001 A di fasilitas CPP untuk menghemat pemakaian air tanah.Langkah lain yang diambil mencakup pengurangan waktu operasi pompa di instalasi Water Treatment Plant (WTP), kampanye hemat air di area RDP, dan penerapan teknologi Rain Water Harvesting di lokasi pengeboran sebagai alternatif sumber air bersih. Selain itu, efisiensi penggunaan air tanah diperkuat melalui pemasangan sistem alarm kontrol pada pompa WTP.Pemanfaatan kembali air limbah domestik dan drainase juga diterapkan sebagai sumber air untuk sistem pemadam kebakaran, sedangkan sirkulasi air pada sistem pendingin boiler ditingkatkan untuk mengurangi konsumsi air bersih. Terakhir, optimalisasi sistem kontrol anti surge pada kompresor refrigeran turut berkontribusi dalam efisiensi operasional dan konservasi sumber daya air secara menyeluruh.Total volume air yang ditarik selama tahun 2024 di seluruh WK PT PHE mencapai 26.840.412,46 m3 atau setara 26.840 megaliter. Sedangkan air yang dilepaskan pada tahun 2024 mencapai 15.485.439,75 m3 atau setara 15.485 megaliter. Seluruh air yang dilepaskan telah diolah dan lolos uji untuk memastikan kualitas air sesuai dengan standar lingkungan dan aman bagi lingkungan. Selama tahun 2024, jumlah air yang dikonsumsi adalah sebanyak mencapai 11.354.972,71 m3atau setara 11.355 megaliter, menurun 4,68% dari tahun 2023, di mana pada tahun 2023 jumlah air yang dikonsumsi adalah 11.912.652,14 m3.PHE Subholding Upstream is committed to achieving efficiency of water uses and supporting water resource conservation in the Working Areas of each Subsidiary. To ensure responsible water management, we regularly monitor the entire process of taking, using, and treating and discharging effluents into water bodies. These activities are supervised by the HSSE and Operation Functions in each Subsidiary and are reported periodically to the relevant authorities. [GRI 303-2] [IPIECA ENV-1]The company has implemented various initiatives to improve the efficiency of water utilization and support sustainable water management practices at various operational facilities. One of the main steps is the implementation of a domestic wastewater treatment system with a physical-chemical method, where the treated water is channeled to an infiltration well, while the sludge is collected in a septic tank for further treatment. In addition, innovations have been made in the drilling process to significantly optimize water consumption.Several technical initiatives were also undertaken, including the use of Fire Tube Boilers at Sangasanga facility, as well as a plant watering system in the employee housing area (BDV/Living Quarter) that utilizes treated water from the wastewater treatment plant (IPAL). Efforts to increase efficiency were also made through the installation of Restriction Orifice devices on water wells (AROWW), as well as the implementation of an integrated speed control pump (ISCP) with the installation of a Variable Speed Drive (VSD) on Deep-Well Pump 374 P 1001 A at the CPP facility to save groundwater usage.Other steps taken include reducing pump operating time at the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) installation, water saving campaigns in the RDP area, and implementing Rain Water Harvesting technology at drilling sites as an alternative source of clean water. In addition, the efficiency of groundwater use is strengthened by installing a control alarm system on the WTP pump.Reuse of domestic wastewater and drainage is also implemented as a water source for the fire extinguishing system, while water circulation in the boiler cooling system is improved to reduce clean water consumption. Finally, optimization of the anti-surge control system on the refrigerant compressor contributes to overall operational efficiency and water resource conservation.The total volume of water withdrawn during 2024 across all WAs of PT PHE reached 26,840,412.46 m3 or equivalent to 26,840 megaliters. Meanwhile, the water discharged in 2024 reached 15,485,439.75 m3 or equivalent to 15,485 megaliters. All water discharged has been treated and passed tests to ensure that the water quality meets environmental standards and is safe for the environment.
