Berbagai program Community Involvement and Development (CID) telah diselenggarakan secara konsisten dari tahun ke tahun. Pada tahun 2024, terdapat 781 program pengembangan masyarakat yang terlaksana di PHE, 5 Regional, 2 anak perusahaan services dan PT Badak NGL. Selain itu, PHE Subholding Upstream juga turut berkontribusi melalui melakukan investasi dalam bentuk pembangunan infrastruktur. Infrastruktur merupakan kunci pertumbuhan ekonomi bagi suatu daerah, sehingga keberadaan infrastruktur dinilai sangat penting dan perlu diprioritaskan karena memiliki pengaruh positif bagi masyarakat sekitarnya dalam meningkatkan perekonomian, pemberdayaan, dan kualitas hidup Masyarakat. Komitmen tersebut direalisasikan melalui investasi terhadap infrastruktur yang berdampak positif bagi masyarakat mencakup fasilitas ekonomi, Kesehatan, lingkungan, pendidikan, dan sosial. Hingga saat ini PHE Subholding Upstream tidak mengidentifikasi adanya dampak yang negatif dari fasilitas infrastruktur yang dibangun untuk Masyarakat tersebut.Secara keseluruhan, PHE Subholding Upstream telah berkontribusi terhadap pembangunan infrastruktur pada aspek pendidikan, sosial, ekonomi, lingkungan maupun kesehatan dan merealisasikan anggaran lebih dari Rp21 miliar untuk investasi infrastruktur. Investasi tersebut dikeluarkan dalam bentuk in-kind dan pro bono tergantung dari kebutuhan Masyarakat. PHE Subholding Upstream tidak mengenakan biaya atau tarif kepada masyarakat dalam pembangunan infrastruktur tersebut. Adapun rincian dari infrastruktur tersebut adalah sebagai berikut. Infrastructure is the key to economic growth for a region, therefore, the existence of infrastructure is considered crucial and needs to be prioritized because it has a positive influence on the surrounding community in improving the economy, empowerment, and quality of life of the community. This commitment is realized through investment in infrastructure that has a positive impact on the community including economic, health, environmental, educational, and social facilities. Until now, PHE Subholding Upstream has not identified any negative impacts from the infrastructure facilities built for the community.Overall, PHE Subholding Upstream has contributed to infrastructure development in the education, social, economic, environmental and health aspects and realized a budget of more than Rp21 billion for infrastructure investment. The investment was issued in the form of in-kind and pro bono depending on the needs of the community.
