                                    Keberadaan PHE Subholding Upstream untuk Kesejahteraan MasyarakatThe Presence of PHE Subholding Upstream for Community Welfare 11Untuk mendukung inovasi keberlanjutan, Fungsi Upstream Innovation bekerja sama dengan Fungsi Human Capital melalui Subfungsi Quality Management Subholding Upstream mulai melakukan implementasi Pengelolaan Kekayaan Intelektual (KI). Pengelolaan kekayaan intelektual yang efektif memungkinkan Perusahaan untuk melindungi inovasi, memanfaatkan aset-aset intelektual tersebut untuk mendapatkan keunggulan kompetitif, dan mencegah penyalahgunaan oleh pihak lain. Untuk mendukung Program Reduksi Emisi PHE Subholding Upstream, antara lain dilakukan inovasi Carbon Capture & Storage(CCS) dan studi Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS). Pengembangan terus dilakukan untuk mendorong transformasi bisnis ke arah green economy dan ekonomi rendah karbon. Setelah Jatibarang Field, PHE Subholding Upstream terus melakukan kajian potensi dekarbonisasi yang tersebar di berbagai lokasi, di antaranya yang saat ini sedang dilakukan adalah studi CCS Central Sumatera Basin, CCS South Sumatera Basin, CCS Hubs Asri Basin, CCS Gundih Field, CCS East Kalimantan Basin, CCS Cenral Sulawesi Basin, CCS Subang, CCUS CO2 EOR Ramba, CCUS CO2EOR Jatibarang, dan CCUS CO2 EOR Sukowati. Secara total, potensi dekarbonisasi di seluruh area PHE Subholding Upstream mencapai 7,3 juta ton karbon ekuivalen.Inovasi berkelanjutan lainnya adalah memperkuat infrastruktur gas dengan LPG Booster System di Kilang LNG Badak di Bontang, Kalimantan Timur. Teknologi tersebut dapat meningkatkan produksi LPG untuk wilayah Bontang hingga 323% sebesar 603 m3 per hari. LPG Booster System telah beroperasi sejak Desember 2021, dan diproyeksi terdapat penambahan produksi LPG sebesar 1,56 juta m3 atau 780.000 Metrik Ton selama periode 2022-2027. Inovasi ini akan menghasilkan tambahan produksi LPG nasional sehingga dapat mengurangi impor LPG, dan memperkuat kontribusi gas pada transisi energi, mengingat PHE Subholding Upstream memiliki sumber gas yang masih dapat dikembangkan untuk berproduksi pada tahun 2031.Perusahaan akan terus mengembangkan pengelolaan operasi yang prudent dan excellent di dalam dan luar negeri secara profesional untuk mewujudkan pencapaian menjadi perusahaan minyak dan gas bumi kelas dunia yang Environmental Friendly, Societal Responsible Company dan Good Governance.To support sustainability innovation, the Upstream Innovation Function in collaboration with the Human Capital Function through the Upstream Sub-Function of Quality Management Subholding Upstream has begun to implement Intellectual Property (IP) Management. Effective intellectual property management enables the Company to protect innovation, utilize these intellectual assets to gain competitive advantage, and prevent misuse by other parties.To support PHE Subholding Upstream%u2019s Emission Reduction Program, among others, Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) innovations and Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) studies have been carried out. Development continues to be carried out to encourage business transformation toward a green economy and a low-carbon economy. After Jatibarang Field, PHE Subholding Upstream continues to study the decarbonization potential spread across various locations, comprising the ongoing study of CCS Central Sumatra Basin, CCS South Sumatra Basin, CCS Hubs Asri Basin, CCS Gundih Field, CCS East Kalimantan Basin, CCS Central Sulawesi Basin, CCS Subang, CCUS CO2 EOR Ramba, CCUS CO2 EOR Jatibarang, and CCUS CO2 EOR Sukowati. In total, the decarbonization potential across all PHE Subholding Upstream areas reaches 7.3 million tons of carbon equivalent.Another sustainable innovation involves the strengthening of gas infrastructure with LPG Booster System at Badak LNG Plant in Bontang, East Kalimantan. This technology can increase LPG production for the Bontang area by 323% with 603 m3 per day. The LPG Booster System has been operating since December 2021, and it is projected that there will be an additional LPG production of 1.56 million m3 or 780,000 Metric Tons during the 2022-2027 period.
