Lokasi PHE NSO yang berdekatan dengan pesisir Pantai meningkatkan pentingnya upaya pelestarian lingkungan di Kawasan pesisir Pantai. Pesisir pantai menjadi tujuan tempat peneluran dan penetasan telur penyu. Dalam upaya pengelolaan penyu, Pesisir Desa Bantayan yang memiliki panjang pesisir mencapai sepuluh kilometer sebagai dasar untuk menentukan arah dari konservasi penyu. Selain penyu juga terdapat spesies Burung (Aves) di Kawasan pesisir Pantai Bentayan yaitu 59 spesies dengan total fauna 702 individu. Dari 59 spesies flora dan fauna tersebut terdapat 3 spesies dilindungi berdasarkan IUCN, 2 spesies dilindungi berdasarkan CITES dan 15 spesies dilindungi berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri LHK Nomor P.20 Tahun 2018 Sehingga suatu ekosistem dapat dikatakan stabil jika memiliki indeks keanekaragaman dan menunjukkan bahwa Kawasan tersebut memiliki komunitas yang tinggi sehingga terjadi interaksi diantara keduanya. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada lahan seluas 3,86 Ha dengan indeks keanekaragaman hayati faunanya sebesar 1,86 dan indeks keanekaragaman flora sebesar 1,35. Perusahaan melaksanakan enam program sejak tahun 2019 hingga 2023, yaitu:1. Konservasi Flora dan Fauna di Pesisir Desa Bantayan2. Konservasi Ikan di Area Karang Tong di Wilayah Kerja Operasi NSO3. Konservasi Ikan di Area Karang Teungoh di Wilayah Kerja Operasi NSO4. Konservasi Penyu di Pesisir Bantayan5. Konservasi dan Rehabilitasi Pohon Cemara (Casuarina equisetifolia) dengan Cara Penanaman Kembali diPesisir Pantai Desa Bantayan6. Konservasi Rhizopora Pemulihan Lahan Kritis di Pesisir Seunuddon dengan Metode Rumpun Berjarak PT PHE NSO understands the importance of managing the impact of oil and gas operations by committing to biodiversity protection. The location of PHE NSO adjacent to the coast increases the importance of environmental conservation efforts in coastal areas. The coastline is a destination for turtle egg nesting and hatching. In an effort to manage sea turtles, the coast of Bantayan Village with a coastal line of ten kilometers serves as a basis for determining the direction of turtle conservation. In addition to turtles, there are also species of birds (Aves) in the coastal area of Bentayan Beach, namely 59 species with a total of 702 fauna individuals. Of the 59 species of flora and fauna, 3 species are protected under IUCN, 2 species are protected under CITES and 15 species are protected based on Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation Number P.20 of 2018 Thus, it can be considered that an ecosystem is stable if it has a diversity index and it shows that the area has a high community, creating an interaction between the two. This activity was carried out in an area of 3.86 Ha with a fauna biodiversity index of 1.86 and a flora diversity index of 1.35.
