Direktorat ini dibantu oleh fungsi-fungsi terkait yang masing-masing dipimpin oleh Vice President Existing Assets, Vice President New Venture, dan Vice President Exploration Technical Excellence & Coordination. Secara umum, kinerja eksplorasi PHE Subholding Upstream tahun 2022 mampu melebihi target. Target dan Realisasi Kinerja Segmen EksplorasiEksplorasi PHE Subholding Upstream menyerap biaya sebesar USD365 juta untuk membiayai kegiatan eksplorasi selama tahun 2022. Anggaran ini meningkat 12% dibandingkan dengan tahun 2021 yang mencapai USD328 juta. Peningkatan terjadi karena adanya kenaikan jumlah sumur yang dibor. Aktivitas eksplorasi di sepanjang tahun 2022 meliputi pengeboran sumur eksplorasi, studi geologi dan geofisika, serta survei seismik dan survei lainnya, baik di area existing maupun di area terbuka.Dari kegiatan eksplorasi, PHE Subholding Upstream mencatat tambahan volume sumber daya kontinjen (2C) sebesar 345 MMBOE atau 155,6% dari target RKAP, yaitu 222 MMBOE. Volume tersebut mencakup sumber daya 2C dari pemboran eksplorasi sebesar 226 MMBOE (65%), reassessment/study sebesar 103 MMBOE (30%), dan tambahan dari 2C development sebesar 16 MMBOE (5%). PHE Subholding Upstream classifies ts business segments into several categories: exploration; development and production; portfolio management; and AP services.EXPLORATION SEGMENTThe Exploration Directorate, led by the Director of Exploration, is responsible for the efficient operation of exploration activities. This Directorate is supported by related functions led by the Vice Presidents of Existing Assets, New Venture, and Exploration Technical Excellence & Coordination, respectively. The exploration performance of PHE Subholding Upstream in 2022 was able to exceed expectations on the whole. 11 of 17 exploration wells yielded hydrocarbons, resulting in a success rate of 65%. The success rate of exploration drilling increased by 36% compared to 2021.Target and Realization of Exploration Segment PerformancePHE Subholding Upstream Exploration incurred USD 365 million in costs for exploration activities in 2022. This budget has grown by 12% compared to 2021's total of USD 328 million. Due to an increase in the number of wells drilled, the number of wells increased. Exploration activities in 2022 included exploratory well drilling, geological and geophysical studies, seismic surveys, and other surveys in both existing and unexplored areas.PHE Subholding Upstream recorded an increase in contingent resources (2C) from exploration activities of 345 MMBOE, or 155,6% of the RKAP target of 222 MMBOE. This volume contains 226 MMBOE (65%) of 2C exploration drilling resources, 103 MMBOE (30%) of re-evaluation/study, and 16 MMBOE (5%) of 2C development.
