Penjelasan DireksiMessage from the Board of DirectorsSekilas Kinerja Keberlanjutan Tahun 2023Dalam hal kinerja keberlanjutan, Pertamina Hulu Energi mengalami pertumbuhan kinerja yang cukup baik pada tahun 2023. Dari sisi produksi, realisasi produksi migas tahun 2023 mencapai 1.043,73 MBOEPD atau 107,89% dari realisasi produksi migas tahun 2022. Untuk realisasi lifting migas tahun 2023 tercatat sebesar 905,40 MBOEPD atau 108,14% dari realisasi lifting migas tahun 2022. Secara ekonomi, nilai ekonomi yang dihasilkan Perusahaan adalah sebesar USD14.568,38 juta dan nilai ekonomi yang didistribusikan adalah sebesar USD15.515,03 juta. Pada tahun 2023, Perusahaan telah mencatatkan pendapatan sebesar USD14.568,38 juta, sementara biaya operasional sebesar USD8.225,97 juta, sehingga menghasilkan laba bersih sebesar USD2.725,54 juta.Dari sisi kinerja lingkungan, pada tahun 2023 Perusahaan melanjutkan upaya pengendalian emisi Gas Rumah Kaca (GRK) melalui penerapan teknologi Carbon Capture Storage (CCS)/Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS). Teknologi ini berfungsi untuk menangkap CO2 yang dihasilkan selama proses produksi minyak dan gas. Setelah CO2 ditangkap, PHE mengangkutnya ke lokasi penyimpanan yang aman atau memanfaatkannya dalam proses lain, seperti peningkatan pemulihan minyak, di mana CO2 disuntikkan ke dalam reservoir minyak untuk meningkatkan ekstraksi. Pada tahun 2023, emisi yang dihasilkan mencapai 13,97 juta ton CO2eq dengan intensitas emisi sebesar 0,0384 ton CO2eq/BOE, turun 1,8% dari tahun sebelumnya. Emisi yang dihasilkan tersebut menurun 872.495,58 ton CO2eq terhadap skenario business as usual (BAU). Dari sisi penggunaan energi baru terbarukan terjadi peningkatan pemakaian energi selama tahun 2023 sebesar 4,06% dari total konsumsi energi, jika dibandingkan dengan tahun 2022 sebesar 2,74% dari total konsumsi energi. Besaran Intensitas energi pada tahun 2023 adalah 0,5 GJ/BOE. Perusahaan terus berkomitmen untuk meningkatkan kontribusi dalam penggunaan dan pengembangan Energi Baru dan Terbarukan (EBT) dengan meningkatkan produksi gas bumi. Selain itu, penggunaan air mengalami penurunan sebesar 17,52% dibandingkan tahun sebelumnya.Dalam aspek sosial, Perusahaan berfokus pada pengelolaan Sumber Daya Manusia dan penciptaan lingkungan kerja yang aman dan nyaman, serta pemberdayaan masyarakat lokal. Perusahaan selalu memastikan dijalankannya prinsip-prinsip diversitas, anti diskriminasi, dan pemenuhan Hak Asasi Manusia (HAM) dalam pengelolaan SDM. Saat ini PHE Subholding Upstream mempekerjakan 14.154 pekerja dengan 13,40% merupakan pekerja wanita. Selain itu pekerja wanita yang menduduki jabatan dalam manajemen mencapai 13,94% dari total pejabat Perusahaan. Perusahaan juga fokus pada pengembangan pekerja, dengan 2023 Sustainability Performance at a Glance In terms of sustainability performance, Pertamina Hulu Energi experienced a rather satisfactory performance growth in 2023. In terms of production, the realization of oil and gas production in 2023 reached 1,043.73 MBOEPD or 107.89% of the realization of oil and gas production in 2022. The realization of oil and gas lifting in 2023 was recorded at 905.40 MBOEPD or 108.14% of the realization of oil and gas lifting in 2022. Economically, the economic value generated by the Company amounted to USD14,568.38 million and the economic value distributed amounted to USD15,515.03 million. In 2023, the Company has recorded revenue of USD14,568.38 million, while operating expenses totalled USD8,225.97 million, resulting in a net profit of USD2,725.54 million.In the context of environmental performance, in 2023 Company's continued the endeavors to control Green House Gas (GHG) emissions through the application of Carbon Capture Storage (CCS)/Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS) technology. This technology functions to capture CO2 produced during the oil and gas production process. Once the CO2 is captured, PHE transports it to a safe storage location or utilizes it in other processes, such as enhanced oil recovery, where CO2 is injected into oil reservoirs to increase extraction. In 2023, the emissions generated was 13.97 million tons CO2eq, an increase of 1.8% compared the previous year with an emissions intensity of 0.0384 tons CO2eq/BOE. The resulting emissions decreased by 872,495.58 tons CO2eq compared to the business as usual (BAU) scenario.In terms of the use of new renewable energy, there has been an increase in 2023 of 4.06% of total energy consumption, compared to 2.74% in 2022. The energy intensity volume in 2023 has been 0.5 GJ/BOE. The Company continue to be committed to increasing contribution in the use and development of New and Renewable Energy (EBT) by increasing natural gas production. In addition, water use decreased by 17.52% compared to the previous year.In the social aspect, the Company has focused on managing Human Capital and creating a safe and comfortable work environment, as well as empowering local communities.
