Eksplorasi dan Produksi Minyak & Gas (Migas)Sebagaimana telah disampaikan pada bab %u201cProfil Perusahaan%u201d dalam Laporan Tahunan ini, Eksplorasi dan Produksi Migas yang dilakukan PHE Subholding Upstream tersebar pada 40 Wilayah Kerja di Indonesia dan 25 Wilayah Kerja di berbagai wilayah internasional termasuk didalamnya PHE merupakah salah satu pemegang saham. Pada pendekatan kelompok usaha, Eksplorasi dan Produksi Migas dilakukan oleh yang tergabung dalam 5 (lima) regional, yaitu Regional 1 mencakup wilayah Sumatra, Regional 2 mencakup wilayah Jawa, Regional 3 mencakup wilayah Kalimantan, Regional 4 mencakup wilayah Indonesia Timur, dan Regional 5 yang mencakup wilayah internasional.Untuk dapat menjelaskan kegiatan yang dilakukan Perusahaan pada segmen ini, laporan ini membagi kegiatan ke dalam 2 (dua) bagian besar, yaitu Eksplorasi Migas, dan Produksi Migas.Eksplorasi MigasKegiatan Operasi Eksplorasi MigasKegiatan operasi PHE Subholding Upstream pada Eksplorasi dan Produksi Migas mencakup kegiatan eksplorasi yang melibatkan pengeboran, survei seismik serta studi geologi dan geofisika. Melalui pengeboran, tim eksplorasi dapat mengakses lapisan bumi untuk mengidentifikasi potensi hidrokarbon. Sementara itu, survei seismik digunakan untuk mendapatkan gambaran yang komprehensif mengenai struktur geologi di bawah permukaan tanah.Dengan mengintegrasikan hasil-hasil ini, PHE Subholding Upstream dapat membuat keputusan yang lebih tepat dan efektif dalam menemukan dan mengelola sumber daya migas. Direktorat Eksplorasi yang dipimpin oleh Direktur Eksplorasi bertanggung jawab untuk memastikan kelancaran kegiatan eksplorasi. Direktorat ini diperkuat oleh fungsi-fungsi terkait yang masing-masing dipimpin oleh Vice President Existing Assets, Vice President New Venture, dan Vice President Exploration Technical Excellence & Coordination.Kapasitas dan Pengembangan Eksplorasi MigasPHE Subholding Upstream aktif mencari sumber daya migas baru sepanjang tahun 2024. Langkah ini dilakukan sebagai bagian dari upaya mendukung ketahanan energi nasional. Komitmen Perusahaan adalah melakukan kegiatan eksplorasi, baik di existing asset, area frontier, maupun new venturedengan masif dan agresif, termasuk menggunakan teknologiteknologi terkini. Dalam strategi eksplorasi, PHE Subholding Upstream memiliki empat strategi, yaitu pencapaian world class company, optimasi portfolio exploration, pemanfaatan existing assets dan eksplorasi pada blok baru, dan implementasi Fast Track Exploration (FTE). Dengan penjabaran sebagai berikut:Oil & Gas Exploration and ProductionAs stated in the %u201cCompany Profile%u201d chapter in this Annual Report, Oil and Gas Exploration and Production carried out by PHE Subholding Upstream has been spread across 40 Working Areas in Indonesia and 25 Working Areas in various international regions, with PHE included as one of the shareholders. In the business group approach, Oil and Gas Exploration and Production is carried out by members of 5 (five) regions, namely Regional 1 covering Sumatra, Regional 2 covering Java, Regional 3 covering Kalimantan, Regional 4 covering Eastern Indonesia, and Regional 5 covering international territory.For the purpose of elaborating on activities carried out by the Company in this segment, activities are classified into 2 (two) major categories in this report, namely Oil and Gas Exploration, and Oil and Gas Production.Oil and Gas ExplorationOil and Gas Exploration OperationsPHE Subholding Upstream operations in Oil and Gas Exploration and Production have been implementing a series of strategic steps, Such measures include exploration activities involving drilling, seismic surveys as well as geological & geophysical studies. Through drilling, exploration teams are able to access the Earth%u2019s layers to identify potential hydrocarbons. Meanwhile, seismic surveys are used to obtain a comprehensive picture of the geological structure below the ground surface. By integrating these results, PHE Subholding Upstream is able to make more informed and effective decisions in identifying and managing oil and gas resources. The Directorate of Exploration headed by the Director of Exploration is responsible for ensuring the uninterrupted flow of exploration activities. The Directorate is supported by related functions, led by Vice President of Existing Assets, Vice President of New Venture, and Vice President of Exploration Technical Excellence & Coordination, respectively.Oil and Gas Exploration Capacity and DevelopmentOil and Gas Exploration Capacity and Development PHE Subholding Upstream has been actively looking for new oil and gas resources in 2023 as part of endeavors to support national energy security. It has been the Company%u2019s commitment to conduct exploration activities, both in existing assets, frontier areas, as well as new ventures massively and aggressively, including using the latest technologies. In its exploration strategy, PHE Subsholding Upstream has four strategies, namely world class company achievement, portfolio exploration optimization, utilization of existing assets and expansion in new blocks, and Fast Track Exploration (FTE) implementation.
