Tentang PHE Subholding UpstreamAbout PHE Subholding UpstreamMinyak dan gas bumi merupakan sumber daya alam strategis tidak terbarukan yang dikuasai oleh negara serta merupakan komoditas vital yang menguasai hajat hidup orang banyak dan mempunyai peranan penting dalam perekonomian nasional sehingga pengelolaannya harus dapat secara maksimal memberikan kemakmuran dan kesejahteraan rakyat. Hal ini tertuang dalam Undang-Undang No. 22 Tahun 2001 tentang Minyak dan Gas Bumi yang menjadikan latar belakang perubahan PT Aroma Operations Services (AOS) menjadi PT Pertahulu Energy di tahun 2002 dan kemudian pada tahun 2007 berubah nama menjadi PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE). yang fokus mengelola Wilayah Kerja Hulu Migas yakni eksplorasi dan produksi minyak dan gas bumi. Kemudian PHE ditetapkan sebagai Subholding Upstream berdasarkan Surat Keputusan Direksi PT Pertamina (Persero) No. Kpts-19/ C00000/2020-S0 tertanggal 16 Juni 2020.Peran subholding Pertamina adalah untuk mendorong operational excellence melalui pengembangan skala dan sinergi di setiap bisnisnya. Posisinya berada di bawah level perusahaan induk atau holding company. Sebagai Subholding Upstream, PT Pertamina Hulu Energi memiliki power yang kuat yang menjadikan Perusahaan mampu mengatur bisnis ke dalam kelompok yang berbeda berdasarkan sektor, geografi, dan jenis usahanya. Di akhir tahun 2023, Perusahaan mengelola sebanyak 43 wilayah kerja domestik dan 25 wilayah kerja internasional yang tersebar di negara kawasan Asia Tenggara, Afrika, Eropa, dan Timur Tengah. Pengelolaan ini berkaitan langsung dengan Entitas Anak Perusahaan Hulu (APH) yang bekerja sama dengannya.Sebagai Subholding Upstream, PT Pertamina Hulu Energi mengelola wilayah kerja tersebut secara regional dengan mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor seperti volume produksi, geografi wilayah, dan kompleksitas operasionalnya. Subholding Upstream berfungsi sebagai perencana, validator, dan pembuat aturan. Selain itu, Subholding Upstream juga bertanggung jawab mengoptimalkan kinerja tiap perusahaan dan meningkatkan keselamatan, serta produksi cadangan minyak dan gas. Selama tahun pelaporan, tidak ada perubahan signifikan terkait struktur organisasi, operasional, struktur pemegang saham, ataupun rantai pasokan PHE Subholding Upstream. [OJK C.6]Oil and gas are strategic non-renewable natural resources controlled by the state as well as vital commodities that control the lives of many people and have an important role in the national economy. Therefore, their management must be able to optimally provide prosperity and welfare of the people. This is stated in Law No. 22 of 2001 concerning Oil and Gas which laid the background for the change of PT Aroma Operations Services (AOS) to PT Pertahulu Energy in 2002 which changed its name to PT Pertamina Hulu Energi in 2007 with a focus on being an Subholding Upstream of PT Pertamina (Persero), with a mandate to manage the Upstream Oil and Gas Working Area, namely oil and gas exploration and production up to the present time. The determination of PHE Subholding Upstream is based on the Decree of the Board of Directors No. Kpts-19/ C00000/2020-S0 dated June 16, 2020.The role of Pertamina's subholding is to encourage operational excellence through scale development and synergy in each of its businesses. The position is below the level of the holding company. As an Subholding Upstream, PT Pertamina Hulu Energi has strong power enabling the Company to organize its business into different groups based on sector, geography, and type of business. By the end of 2023, the Company has managed 43 domestic work areas and 25 international work areas spread across Southeast Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. Such management is directly related to the Upstream Subsidiary Entity (APH) it cooperates with.As an Subholding Upstream, PT Pertamina Hulu Energi manages the work area regionally by considering factors such as production volume, regional geography, and operational complexity. Subholding Upstream serves as planners, validators, and rule makers. In addition, Subholding Upstream is also responsible for optimizing the performance of each company and improving safety, as well as the production of oil and gas reserves.During the reporting year, there were no significant changes related to PHE Subholding Upstream's organizational, operational, shareholder structure, or supply chain.
